    • Key Qualifications:

  • Certification and experience as a CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician).
  • Demonstrated proficiency assisting in cardiovascular surgical procedures.
  • Current applicable licensure or certification as required by state guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety, aseptic technique, and sterile field adherence.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new surgical teams, processes, and technologies.

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare CVOR suites and ensure all instrumentation and equipment are available and functioning.
  • Assist surgical teams throughout complex cardiovascular operations.
  • Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain sterile integrity.
  • Instrument counts, specimen care, and room turnover.
  • Support and educate ancillary staff as needed to maintain high operating standards.
  • Diligently document and report pertinent information regarding procedures and patient care.
