Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible scheduling may be available based on assignment needs

    • Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license in the state of Michigan or compact licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CVOR nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills

    • Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provide high-quality perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients
  • Prepare operating room instruments and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after surgery
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and hospital protocols
