Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a CVOR setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Familiarity with CVOR protocols, circulating, and scrubbing responsibilities
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and technologies

    • Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular operating room procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate patient status throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
  • Maintain a sterile field and uphold strict infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure quality care
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
  • Act as a patient advocate, delivering support and reassurance throughout the surgical experience
