This ICU travel nursing assignment allows you to collaborate with dedicated colleagues in a 19-bed critical care unit, caring for medical, basic cardiac, and neuro patients. This experience is a fantastic way to refine your skills in post-stroke management, advanced cardiac infusions, and airway management with cutting-edge equipment such as Bipaps and Airvos—making a resume standout for future leadership roles.

Schedule:

  • Night shifts (3x12-hour blocks, 36 hours guaranteed)
  • Block scheduling requests considered
  • Weekend hours: as needed
  • No call requirements
  • Qualifications:

  • Current RN license (Missouri RN licensure or temporary work permit required)
  • 2+ years’ ICU experience
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS (or willing to obtain/complete during probationary period)
  • Strong skills in titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), critical care, post-stroke care, and ventilator management
  • Ability to float to Med Surg and Telemetry as needed
  • Team-focused, self-starter attitude
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR is a plus
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-focused, compassionate critical care to a diverse case mix
  • Recognize and respond to deteriorating patient conditions
  • Coordinate effectively with physicians, therapists, and support staff
  • Maintain compliance with clinical standards and infection control guidelines
  • Adhere to the black scrub dress code (no hoodies, professional attire required)
