Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7A–7P or 7P–7A
  • Weekend rotation: 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle
  • No call required
  • Holiday shifts: one shift per major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
  • What You’ll Gain:
    You’ll serve on high-acuity MedSurg/Telemetry units caring for a wide mix of complex patients—ranging from acute or chronic medical conditions to post-surgical and cardiac situations. Expect to collaborate closely with a dynamic interdisciplinary team and expand your med/tele skill set—including proficiency with EPIC, advanced IV medication drips, and telemetry rhythm interpretation. Floating to various Med/Tele units and the Emergency Department lets you further diversify your experience and enhance adaptability.

    Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years recent MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
  • 6 months of EPIC charting experience required
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred (must pass EKG competency during orientation)
  • Strong assessment, IV, and time management skills
  • Experienced with cardiac rhythm monitoring and managing complex IV drips
  • Open to first-time travelers with appropriate background
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive bedside care to diverse Med/Tele patients
  • Manage medications and IV drips (insulin, cardiac, and antihypertensive agents)
  • Collaborate on coordinated discharge planning and patient education
  • Maintain timely charting in EPIC
  • Float as needed to other Med/Tele units and ED

    $1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
