Schedule/Hours:

  • 7a-7p or 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts
  • Rotating weekends (every other)
  • No on-call requirements
  • Expectation to work 75% of holidays
  • 6-week schedule cycle
  • Required Experience, Licenses & Skills:

  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience preferred
  • Proficient in managing adult and geriatric diagnoses (COPD, CHF, GI bleed, DVT, pneumonia, falls/injuries, etc.)
  • General med-surg/telemetry skills: stroke management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, chest tube and drain management, vascular access and cardiac drips, medication titration, blood product administration
  • Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Philips monitors
  • Will float between units and regional facilities as needed
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse med-surg/telemetry adult population
  • Collaborate closely with CNAs, resource nurses, hospitalists, and ancillary teams
  • Actively engage in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Support ED decompression and cross-specialty transfers
  • Document and communicate care plans via Epic
