As a Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Tele, you’ll gain exposure to diverse workplace practices and a variety of clinical leadership styles, further enhancing your resume and growing your professional network. Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible travel contract assignment
  • Floating within region required based on need
  • Qualifications:

  • RN license in good standing
  • BLS & ACLS certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Minimum 18 months recent MedSurg/Tele experience
  • Strong Med/Tele skillset: stroke care, NIH assessments, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and chest tube management, PIV starts, NGT, drain/tube care, medication & cardiac drip management
  • IV management, blood product administration
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate care to a range of patients, including those with stroke, COPD, chest pain, GI bleed, and altered mental status
  • Manage patient ratios of 1:5-6 (acuity dependent), with potential surge staffing
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including CNAs, phlebotomists, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists
  • Accurate assessment, monitoring, medications administration, and documentation
  • Float to regional facilities as required, adapting to various unit cultures and patient populations

    $1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
