Schedule/Hours:

  • 7a–7p day shifts
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
  • One overnight trauma call (11p–7a); specialty team calls are scheduled accordingly
  • Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent ORT experience, including Level 1 trauma
  • Familiarity with equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Preferred: background in general, GU/GYN, ortho trauma/joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, or endovascular specialties
  • Strong communication, accountability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert surgical assistance as a key member of the operating room team
  • Ensure efficient case preparation, sterile technique, and up-to-date instrumentation
  • Adapt quickly to emergent trauma cases and varied case types
  • Exhibit timeliness, professionalism, and a commitment to patient safety
  • Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to uphold the highest standards of care
