Schedule / Hours:

  • 13-week travel contract
  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts (day or night: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, etc.)
  • Self-scheduling, every other weekend required
  • Qualifications / Experience:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology experience; charge experience required for charge roles
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and ONS/ONCC Chemo Certification REQUIRED
  • Capacity to pass an open book orientation exam (90% required)
  • Ability to float between PCU, Oncology, and MedSurg as needed
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR (preferred)
  • Strong teamwork, compassionate care, and adaptability
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 PCU or 1:5 M/S
  • Administer/monitor chemotherapy, titrate drips (e.g., insulin, cardizem), hemodynamic and ventilator monitoring (training available)
  • Collaborate with PT/OT, case managers, and other support staff
  • Deliver holistic care to a culturally diverse adult population
