This opportunity places you in a reputable facility recognized for comprehensive cardiac services—including a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center. You'll encounter a wide range of cardiovascular cases, engaging with state-of-the-art technology, and gain exposure to resident teaching programs. Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00am–5:30pm
  • Weekend rotation and call requirements (1 day per week; 1 weekend every 4th–5th)
  • Holiday participation (approximately 70%)
  • 6-week schedule cycles
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years’ Cath Lab RN experience
  • Will consider first-time travelers
  • BLS & ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred
  • Proficiency circulating, scrubbing, and prepping/recovering for both Cath and EP procedures
  • Competency administering moderate sedation, titrating/monitoring critical drips
  • Experience with EPIC EMR and specialized cardiac equipment (BBG, ACT, Balloon Pumps, Impella)
  • Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and scrub for cardiovascular and electrophysiology cases (chest pain, angioplasty, ablations, pacemakers, etc.)
  • Prep and recover patients; float as needed to prep/recovery areas
  • Work collaboratively within a high-autonomy, team-oriented department
