Schedule / Hours:

  • Day shift
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-call: 4 weekdays + 1 weekend (Friday–Sunday) per month
  • 1 summer and 1 winter on-call holiday shift
  • Qualifications / Experience:

  • Active RN licensure with at least 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Required skills: Circulating nurse, EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, Balloon Pump, EP experience
  • Advanced certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Experience in patient preparation and monitoring, including sterile technique and EKG placement
  • Excellent communication and adaptability, taking into account patient age, culture, and developmental needs
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including catheterizations, angioplasties, atherectomy, and intra-aortic balloon pump insertions
  • Prepare and organize sterile trays and procedure-specific equipment
  • Operate power injectors, digital cine systems, and ensure accurate storage of hemodynamic data
  • Provide emergency support as needed to ensure patient stability and safety
  • Participate in inventory management and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate in post-procedural care and vascular closure device management
