This fast-paced Emergency Department will immerse you in a dynamic environment treating patients across all acuity levels, including trauma, pediatrics, psychiatry, and urgent care. Build your skill set by operating in critical situations—titrating medication, managing arterial lines, assisting in mass transfusions, and handling chest tubes. Collaborate with experienced teams and leadership, gaining insight into diverse approaches to patient care and hospital management. Schedule/Hours:

  • Three 12-hour day shifts (full-time travel assignment)
  • Qualifications:

  • Active and current RN Licensure in DC (or compact)
  • Minimum 3 years of recent ER nursing experience
  • NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS & ACLS certification (all required)
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program
  • BSN is highly preferred
  • Cerner electronic medical record experience required
  • Willingness to work in trauma as bedside RN and comfortable with a 1:5 patient ratio
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
