Schedule/Hours

  • Weekend rotation required (every other)
  • No call responsibilities
  • Must be willing to float within the regional network
  • Up to 6 days of time off can be requested (excluding holidays)
  • Expect to work 75% of holidays
  • Orientation includes two days of department-specific preparation
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience (Travel experience preferred)
  • Current RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (TNCC preferred)
  • Broad ED skills: cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical drips, vent management, chest tube care, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, ESI assessments, conscious sedation
  • Core Responsibilities

  • Triage and treat a variety of acute medical conditions in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and monitor patients
  • Float across multiple emergency units as needed, adapting to various workflows
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation and participate in patient/family education
