As a travel RN in the MedSurg/Tele unit, you'll work alongside accomplished healthcare professionals, gaining hands-on knowledge at a Level 1 Trauma Center, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center—all invaluable for expanding your resume with new clinical experiences and best practices.

You’ll float as a valued team member, broadening your expertise across various departments and scenarios.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
  • Every 6 weeks: 5-6 weekend shifts out of 12
  • Required to work one shift of each major holiday
  • No on-call
  • Flexible time off requests, with manager approval
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years' recent Med/Tele experience
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred (must complete EKG competency at onboarding)
  • Med Surg certification a plus
  • 6 months EPIC experience required
  • Proven skills: trach care, chest tube management, PIVs, telemetry, cardiac drip titration, strong assessment and discharge planning
  • Willingness to float to all Med/Tele units & ED for holds
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care for diverse MedSurg/Tele patients
  • Monitor cardiac telemetry and titrate drips (insulin, heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, more)
  • Engage in interdisciplinary care coordination and patient education
  • Participate in discharge planning and support team-oriented unit culture

    $1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
