Schedule/Hours:

  • Orientation weekly on Mondays

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert perioperative care while ensuring patient safety throughout all surgical phases
  • Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain sterilization standards and manage OR equipment and supply inventory
  • Adhere to organizational protocols and quality initiatives, including those for clinical documentation and patient outcomes
  • Respond swiftly to evolving case needs, upholding best practices for emergent situations

    • Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license and required certifications in hand before start; additional certifications may be requested
  • Minimum of 60 miles residency from the facility to qualify for travel placement
  • Previous OR nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Commitment to the fingerprint and background check process per New Mexico state regulation
