This travel role provides a unique opportunity to work with pediatric post-anesthesia patients in a dynamic, academically focused medical environment.   • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and credentialed in BLS and PALS
  • 1 year of recent critical care pediatric nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Completion of at least one prior travel assignment (first-time travelers not accepted)
  • Pediatric PACU or ICU experience highly valued
  • Skilled in managing common ICU drips (heparin, insulin, sometimes cardiac)
  • Confident in fast-paced, team-based environments; self-motivated, resourceful, and a strong communicator
  • Responsibilities:

  • Care for primarily pediatric surgical patients (ages 0–17), both inpatient and outpatient, with occasional adult overflow
  • Maintain 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios, determined by acuity
  • Monitor telemetry, utilize Epic, Alaris, Omnicell, and Philips equipment
  • Collaborate with dedicated support: PACU educator, 24/7 anesthesia, RN charge not taking patients
  • Participate in orientation and two precepted shifts to ensure readiness

    $1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
