Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts, 7a–7p
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • No on-call
  • Travelers work 75% of holidays
  • Flexible scheduling cycle: every 6 weeks
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license; minimum 1 year of acute pediatric hem/oncology experience
  • BLS required; PALS preferred
  • APHON required chemo certification
  • Central line management and strong pediatric assessment skills
  • Open to first-time travelers with robust pediatric backgrounds
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, comprehensive care to pediatric oncology/hematology and adolescent medicine patients (average ratio RN: 1:3–4)
  • Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines
  • Support, educate, and collaborate with families through complex health presentations such as leukemia, solid tumors, sickle cell crises, and more
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
  • Float between Pediatric Adolescent and Hem/Onc units as required, supporting cohesive patient care
