Applicants must be available 3-4 days per week. The role includes bus riding: you’ll arrive at the student’s residence at 8:45 am, accompany two students to school, stay until 1 pm, then return with the students, typically arriving home at 1:20 pm.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current RN licensure in NY (or eligibility for NY licensure)
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
  • Comfortable administering emergency seizure/rescue medications
  • Proficiency in tracheostomy suctioning and temperature monitoring
  • Ability to monitor and interpret pulse oximeter readings
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure student health and safety on the school bus and throughout the school day
  • Administer emergency meds for seizure management as needed
  • Provide trach suctioning and continuous temperature / pulse oximetry monitoring for Antionios
  • Maintain clear, compassionate communication with students, families, and school staff
