Schedule/Hours:

  • 3 days per week, 12-hour day shifts (7A-7P)
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call duties

    • Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of related RN experience preferred
  • Active RN license in the state of employment or compact
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required

    • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for adults with cardiac and telemetry needs (not a stepdown unit)
  • Address complex emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
  • Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
  • Accurately document patient history, care administered, and medication details
  • Identify learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers
  • Successfully complete orientation, unit-specific training, and ongoing annual competencies
  • Make patient assignments and delegate as appropriate to ensure efficient patient care
