Schedule/Hours:

  • 7AM – 7PM
  • Full Time
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call obligations

    • What You'll Experience:
    Work with cardiac and telemetry patients (non-Stepdown) in a setting that values independent clinical practice and development. Contribute to both routine and complex care, manage evolving situations adeptly, and practice alongside knowledgeable colleagues. The possibility for a temp-to-perm transition could further secure your future if you're seeking stability.

    Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
  • Assess holistic needs—psychological, emotional, cultural, and social—of patients and families
  • Document patient histories, symptoms, and interventions accurately
  • Provide patient and family education, identify needs and resources
  • Delegate responsibly and support team function
  • Complete all annual and ongoing competency verification requirements

    • Qualifications:

  • Current RN License in Louisiana or compact state
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • At least one year of recent RN-Telemetry experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Proficient with Epic EMR
