Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license, valid in Virginia or compact states
  • Minimum of 2 recent years’ experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
  • Proficient with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
  • Strong clinical skills in critical care, hemodynamic monitoring, post-operative cardiac management, and rapid response interventions
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in high-acuity environments

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert care to postoperative open-heart and critically ill cardiac patients
  • Monitor and assess vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respond to emergent situations with precision
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Administer medications, manage ventilated patients, and use advanced technology in patient care
  • Document care plans, progress, and interventions clearly and accurately
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout recovery

    $2,263 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
