This full-time position is ideal for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) seeking hands-on experience in a school environment. You will provide essential one-on-one care for a first-grade student with a tracheostomy, making a meaningful impact and building expertise in pediatric and school nursing. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN or CNA licensure for Colorado (or compact state)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Prior experience with tracheostomy care preferred
  • Pediatric, school nursing, or direct 1:1 experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 nursing care for a first-grade student with a trach
  • Monitor, manage, and document all aspects of the student’s health and safety
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure effective care coordination
  • Support the student’s inclusion in classroom activities and daily routines
