Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Georgia (required)
  • Proven experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or similar settings
  • Experience with feeding tubes, oxygen administration, catheterization, and patient lifting
  • Comfortable providing 1:1 care for medically fragile, wheelchair-bound students
  • Willingness to work onsite and participate in face-to-face interviews
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile student (spina bifida, shunt/hydrocephalus, hip instability)
  • Administer regular catheter changes and trach/feeding tube care
  • Monitor and respond to student’s health needs throughout the school day
  • Assist with lifting, mobility, and routine activities as needed
  • Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to create a safe, supportive environment
