Qualifications:

  • Active Maine Registered Nurse License required
  • Previous pediatric, school nursing, or 1:1 care experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student diagnosed with Dravet’s syndrome and Autism
  • Accompany student to and from school daily
  • Closely monitor for seizure activity and implement medical protocols as needed
  • Support and advise staff with seizure response procedures and activity modifications
  • Conduct ongoing nursing observations
  • Participate in behavioral data collection (preferred, not required)
  • Collaborate with educational staff, including 1:1 Ed Tech, to maximize student safety and inclusion
