As part of a 32-bed unit handling a diverse patient mix, you'll deepen your clinical expertise, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and elevate your skill set in a nurturing, family-oriented environment. Exposure to advanced cardiac and stroke protocols, as well as a variety of acute medical conditions, ensures ongoing career development and a substantial addition to your resume.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • No call required
  • Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 18 months of PCU RN experience
  • Proficient with tracheostomies, cardiac drips, rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care, and central line management
  • Comfortable floating within scope to affiliated area facilities
  • Open to first-time travelers
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care to patients with CHF, dysrhythmia, stroke, respiratory and abdominal illnesses, diabetes, AKI/CKD, and similar complex diagnoses
  • Maintain a typical patient ratio of 1:4, occasionally 1:5
  • Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy and ancillary departments
  • Document and access patient records with EPIC
  • Engage in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
