ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 2026–2027 school year in Tacoma, Washington. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide direct nursing support to a student within a school setting while working collaboratively with educational staff to ensure student health, safety, and success throughout the school day.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • 35 Hours per Week

  • 6.5 Hours per Day

  • School Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Contract Dates: August 31, 2026 – June 23, 2027

  • Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State LPN License required

  • Must be fingerprinted through OSP

  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred

  • Comfortable working with students requiring tracheostomy care

  • Ability to assist with student transportation/busing needs

  • Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff and families

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and health support throughout the school day

  • Monitor and address student health needs in accordance with physician orders and care plans

  • Perform and assist with tracheostomy-related care as needed

  • Support student safety and health needs during transportation and school activities

  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation

  • Communicate effectively with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers

  • Respond appropriately to medical concerns and emergencies

  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal health regulations
