Key Qualifications:

Certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent experience in cardiovascular operating room settings

Demonstrated proficiency with surgical instrumentation and sterile technique

Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures

Ability to function seamlessly within a collaborative surgical team

Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and clinical documentation standards

Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain a sterile field before, during, and after surgical procedures

Assist surgeons and nursing staff with the selection and handling of instrumentation and supplies

Monitor and anticipate surgeon needs throughout cardiovascular surgeries

Safeguard patient safety through vigilant adherence to infection control and operating room protocols

Manage surgical specimens and ensure proper documentation as required

Participate in preoperative setup and postoperative breakdown of the OR suite

Support inventory management of surgical equipment and supplies
