Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (unencumbered)
  • Proven experience in CVOR or cardiac surgery settings
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for cardiovascular cases
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare CVOR suites for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready
  • Provide direct patient care during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile field and infection control protocols
  • Accurately document patient care and surgical activity according to facility standards
  • Anticipate surgical team needs and respond promptly in high-pressure situations
