Desired Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • At least 2 years of recent RN experience in the CVOR setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency with cardiovascular operating room protocols and equipment
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Comfort working collaboratively within multidisciplinary surgical teams

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and individualized nursing care in the CVOR environment
  • Prepare cardiac surgery suites, including instrument and equipment oversight
  • Assist with procedures and cardiac surgeries under sterile techniques
  • Manage pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care in coordination with surgeons and anesthesia teams
  • Monitor patient status, document interventions, and respond rapidly to changing conditions
  • Educate patients and families on care protocols and post-surgical recovery
