ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Sonoma, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support high school students with moderate to severe disabilities in a collaborative educational environment.

This full-time role runs from August 10, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week). Your commitment will ensure students receive the instruction, support, and encouragement they need to thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications:
Active California Special Education Teaching Credential required
Experience working with students in a special education setting preferred
Knowledge of instructional strategies and accommodations for students with moderate to severe disabilities
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and monitor progress toward IEP goals
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students
Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction based on student needs
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, support staff, and families
Monitor, evaluate, and communicate student progress regularly
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning
Maintain compliance with state and district special education requirements
