ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a full-time School Nurse position at Cogito Academy in Lancaster, SC, for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and dependable RN interested in supporting student health and safety in a collaborative school environment.

Position Details:
• Full-time position
• 2026–2027 school year
• Pay: $35–$45/hour, based on experience
• Monday–Friday school schedule
• Location: Cogito Academy
• 143–145 South Potter Road, Lancaster, SC 29720
• Provide general nursing support to students throughout the school day
• Additional caseload and schedule details will be discussed during the interview

Responsibilities:
• Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies
• Assess student illnesses, injuries, and health concerns
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, allergies, and seizure disorders
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Develop and follow individualized healthcare and emergency action plans
• Communicate with families, teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment

Qualifications:
• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Previous pediatric, school-based, community health, or emergency nursing experience preferred
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining student privacy and confidentiality
