An excellent opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with specialized tracheostomy care experience. Key Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • Recent experience with tracheostomy patient care is required
  • Proven skills in assessing, monitoring, and delivering routine and urgent care to medically complex patients
  • Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
  • Strong commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • BLS certification (current)
  • Previous experience in a clinical, hospital, or facility setting preferred

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients, including tracheostomy management, suctioning, dressing changes, and monitoring respiratory status
  • Document all patient care services accurately and in a timely manner
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or nurse practitioners
  • Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare providers to create and follow individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding trach care, safety, and comfort
  • Respond promptly to patients’ and families’ concerns and clinical changes
  • Maintain infection prevention protocols and ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment
