As a dedicated nurse, you’ll work 1:1 with a student, providing consistent care during transportation from home to school and back, ensuring both safety and well-being. Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current, active Massachusetts RN or LPN license
  • Previous experience working as an RN, LPN, or LVN in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care in a 1:1 environment
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to manage medical concerns while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
  • Reliable and committed to supporting consistent attendance for the student throughout the academic year
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany a high school student on a van to and from their home and school each day
  • Administer medication, provide specialized care, and respond to any health needs during transport
  • Monitor and document the student’s health status and deliver updates to guardians and the school team as needed
  • Uphold a safe, supportive atmosphere at all times during transit
  • Collaborate with teachers, school health staff, and parents to coordinate care plans
