Seeking an experienced LPN to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support for a 5th-grade student in a school-based setting near Winder, GA. This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with shifts from 6:30 am until 2:30/3:00 pm. Key Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
  • Experience supporting children in a school setting, ideally in a 1:1 capacity
  • Skill managing care for students with G/J-tubes, supplemental oxygen, seizure protocols, medication administration, oral suctioning, and asthma
  • Professionalism, patience, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an educational and clinical team
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality, as the day begins at the student’s residence

    • Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care including G-tube feeding, occasional supplemental oxygen, and consistent monitoring of vital signs
  • Administer prescribed medications and respond promptly to seizure activity or respiratory issues
  • Meet the student at their home each morning, accompany them on the school bus, remain onsite during school hours, then accompany the student home in the afternoon (per IEP and doctor’s orders)
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the educational staff and family members to ensure seamless care
  • Support the student’s health and participation throughout the school day
