Licensed Vocational Nurse in Corning, CA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the 2026–2027 school year in Corning, CA. This full-time, onsite opportunity allows you to provide dedicated one-on-one nursing support to a middle school student with specialized medical needs while working alongside educators and school staff to ensure a safe and successful learning environment.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time
Onsite
6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Includes 30-minute lunch
Bus duty required
Qualifications:
Active California LVN/LPN License required
Experience with tracheostomy (trach) care preferred
Experience providing feeding assistance preferred
School-based or pediatric nursing experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one nursing support to a middle school student throughout the school day
Perform tracheostomy (trach) care and monitoring as needed
Assist with feeding and other specialized healthcare needs
Accompany the student throughout the school day, including general education and resource classes
Monitor the student's medical status and respond to health-related concerns
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support the student's health and educational needs
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare plans and district policies
Student Assignment:
1:1 Middle School Student
Student transitions between general education classes
One hour of daily resource support
Student has a medical diagnosis requiring specialized healthcare assistance
