ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the 2026–2027 school year in Corning, CA. This full-time, onsite opportunity allows you to provide dedicated one-on-one nursing support to a middle school student with specialized medical needs while working alongside educators and school staff to ensure a safe and successful learning environment.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing individualized healthcare support that promotes student safety, independence, and academic success.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • Onsite

  • 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

  • Includes 30-minute lunch

  • Bus duty required

  • Qualifications:

  • Active California LVN/LPN License required

  • Experience with tracheostomy (trach) care preferred

  • Experience providing feeding assistance preferred

  • School-based or pediatric nursing experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care in an educational setting

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one nursing support to a middle school student throughout the school day

  • Perform tracheostomy (trach) care and monitoring as needed

  • Assist with feeding and other specialized healthcare needs

  • Accompany the student throughout the school day, including general education and resource classes

  • Monitor the student's medical status and respond to health-related concerns

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support the student's health and educational needs

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare plans and district policies

  • Student Assignment:

  • 1:1 Middle School Student

  • Student transitions between general education classes

  • One hour of daily resource support

  • Student has a medical diagnosis requiring specialized healthcare assistance
