Step into a vital role supporting exceptional surgical care as a Certified Surgical Technologist or ORT Nurse with a leading healthcare team. This contract opportunity provides you with the chance to utilize your operating room expertise and commitment to patient safety in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Schedule and Hours:

10-hour night shifts

Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM

40 hours per week

Desired Qualifications:

Certification as a Surgical Technologist or demonstrated competency as an ORT Nurse

Current, active professional licensure as required

Previous operating room experience in a surgical setting

Thorough understanding of surgical instruments and sterile technique

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and support staff

Flexibility to participate in on-call and call-back as required

Willingness to work 75% of holidays as part of the team

Ability to pass a final interview with a manager

Principal Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and ensure required instruments and supplies are available and sterile

Assist surgical teams by anticipating needs during procedures

Maintain a sterile environment throughout each operation

Support efficient room turnover between surgeries

Provide assistance as needed, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards

Participate in on-call rotations, responding effectively to emergencies

No floating outside the assigned surgical unit

$1,573 - $1,664/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
