Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or extensive Operating Room Technician background
  • Proven ability working within a surgical setting, anticipating and meeting the needs of the surgical team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operating room procedures, aseptic technique, and sterile field maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain focused under pressure
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain prior to assignment)
  • Commitment to patient safety and collaborative care
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures
  • Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and related supplies
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all tools are sterile and functioning properly
  • Manage specimens and facilitate clear, concise documentation
  • Uphold infection control protocols at every stage of patient care
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesiologists

    $1,369 - $1,498/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
