Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an operating room technician (ORT) or surgical tech role
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control protocols
  • Proficiency in preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and supplies
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to remain composed and focused in fast-paced situations
  • Team-oriented approach with high attention to detail
  • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, drapes, and equipment
  • Assist surgeons and nurses throughout surgical procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere strictly to aseptic and sterile field protocols
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor and ensure correct handling and disposal of specimens
  • Support postoperative clean-up and equipment sterilization
  • Collaborate with perioperative team members to deliver high-quality patient care

    $1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
