Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile fields in the operating room

Assist surgeons and nursing staff throughout operative procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow

Monitor patient safety and adhere strictly to infection control and aseptic techniques

Accurately count sponges, sharps, and instruments before, during, and after surgeries

Support surgical team members in preoperative and postoperative tasks as needed

Maintain meticulous records and follow facility protocols and procedures

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent required

Strong experience with ORT (Operating Room Technician) duties and understanding of surgical environments

Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and medical terminology

Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and efficiently during surgical cases

Excellent communication and teamwork talents

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
