As an RN specializing in the Operating Room—with a focus on pediatric patients—you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to some of our most vulnerable patients alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • At least one year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Demonstrated skills in both adult and pediatric surgical nursing
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (PALS preferred)
  • Strong communication abilities and attention to detail
  • Proven record of working efficiently under pressure in fast-paced situations
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub on a variety of surgical procedures, with specific pediatric caseloads
  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure equipment, supplies, and instruments are sterile and available
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Provide compassionate care throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
  • Monitor patients' conditions, respond to emergencies, and advocate for patients’ needs
  • Meticulously document all aspects of care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
