Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care in a Cath Lab setting. This contract role is based in a fast-paced environment with a focus on advanced procedures, including heavy structural heart cases and clinical trials. You’ll work with a collaborative team, ensuring innovative cardiac care and using industry-leading equipment such as Siemens, GE, and Philips systems. The hospital features an average daily census of 120 and a close-knit team of 3-4 staff members per room, supporting both routine and complex cases.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday: 7am – 5pm
  • After-hours and Saturday/Sunday on-call coverage required
  • Every other weekend and one weekday on-call rotation
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Texas RN license or compact state license (required)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Prior Cath Lab RN experience is essential
  • Proficiency with Siemens, GE, or Philips imaging equipment preferred
  • Experience with structural heart procedures highly desirable
  • Strong self-motivation and positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
  • Monitor patient responses, administer medications, and assist physicians as needed
  • Collaborate with radiology technicians, interventional cardiologists, and unit staff to ensure safe, efficient care
  • Float to Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab Pre/Post areas as needed
  • Adhere to unit policies and dress code (royal blue scrubs required)
  • Utilize the Merge EMR system for patient records and documentation
