Embark on a rewarding assignment in a cutting-edge Cardiac Cath Lab environment, providing critical care to cardiac patients in a dynamic setting. This opportunity features a contract role where you will utilize advanced technology and work alongside experienced staff to deliver vital interventions and exceptional patient outcomes.

Schedule:

  • 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Rotating call required
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
  • Proficiency in using GE lab equipment, Impella, Balloon pumps, Penumbra, and IVUS devices
  • Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures strongly desired
  • Experience documenting with Merge Hemo system
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care during right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional, as well as peripheral procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and technologists to coordinate patient care in a three-lab unit (3:1 patient ratio)
  • Respond efficiently to emergent STEMI cases, which may include occasional coverage at a nearby sister facility as needed
  • Uphold strict adherence to protocols, safety practices, and documentation standards
  • Wear OR scrubs provided by the facility and maintain a professional appearance at all times
