Advance your nursing career with a specialized role in a high-acuity cardiac care setting. This contract position calls for a Registered Nurse skilled in the Cath Lab environment, working 3x12 hour day shifts with on-call and weekend rotation requirements.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12 hour day shifts
  • On-call required 1-2 nights per week
  • Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks

    • Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license (required at submission)
  • Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • At least 1 year prior ICU, ER, or PACU nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Current/updated supervisory or higher references due at submission
  • Accepting first-time travelers
  • Candidates must be able to recover post-cardiac catheterization patients

    • Experience with the following procedures is strongly preferred:

  • Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs)
  • Closure of PFO/CTOs
  • Electrophysiology device recovery (pacemakers, BiV, AICD, Cryo)

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care throughout the cardiac cath lab process, including monitoring, sedation, and recovery
  • Manage and assess cardiac cath, PCI, and EP procedure patients
  • Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and rapid intervention as needed
  • Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with facility protocols and quality standards
  • Act as a key resource for patients and families regarding procedures and recovery expectations
