Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Proven experience working in an emergency room or acute care setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications (required)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
  • Strong assessment and triage skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and patient needs
  • Responsibilities:

  • Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity and medical need
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide direct nursing care to patients experiencing a wide range of urgent conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
  • Participate in emergency procedures and support code response as needed
  • Ensure adherence to established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
