Step into a vital position supporting newborns and families in a dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse specializing in NICU care, you will play an essential role caring for premature and critically ill infants while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate, family-centered support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with eligibility to practice
  • At least one year of recent NICU nursing experience preferred
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with a collaborative team in high-acuity situations
  • Excellent communication and emotional support skills for patients’ families
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based care to neonates requiring intensive medical attention
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to interventions
  • Administer medications, nutrition, and specialized treatments as directed by the care plan
  • Communicate clearly with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress and concerns
  • Educate and support families throughout their NICU journey, sharing updates and discharge planning information
  • Maintain meticulous charts and comply with all safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies and changes in patient status
