Experienced Registered Nurses with a background in the Operating Room are invited to take on an impactful contract role within a dynamic surgical environment. Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and active RN license in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience in Operating Room nursing required
  • Proficiency in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
  • Ability to handle stress and adapt quickly in fast-paced surgical settings
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operative procedures by preparing operating rooms, managing instruments, and ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques
  • Deliver ongoing patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and patient status throughout surgery
  • Collaborate with surgical team members to achieve optimal patient safety and outcomes
  • Provide emotional support and information to patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility protocols
  • Ensure equipment, instruments, and supplies are readily available and properly sterilized

    $2,251 - $2,381/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
