The main operating room features 16 fully equipped suites, providing broad exposure to complex procedures and a diverse surgical caseload.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Night and weekend call rotation as needed
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Proficiency with transplant surgical procedures
  • Strong adaptability and collaborative skills within multidisciplinary teams
  • Preferred Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in OR nursing
  • Specialty certification (e.g., CNOR)
  • Prior experience with robotics, total joints, spine, vascular, ENT, and plastics cases
  • Experience working with Meditech EMR
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, professional perioperative nursing care in a high-volume, diverse OR suite
  • Prepare surgical rooms and maintain sterile environments for a broad range of cases, including total joints, spine, transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
  • Coordinate and communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technical staff
  • Respond effectively during high-pressure situations and on-call shifts
  • Uphold all facility policies, ensuring adherence to established clinical standards
