A temporary opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in Operating Room environments at an Ambulatory Surgery Center. This three-month assignment is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced ambulatory or surgical settings and is dedicated to patient safety and exceptional care.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No weekends or holidays

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nursing care for pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patients in the operating room setting.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload, with up to 90 patients daily, maintaining efficiency and composure.
  • Lead and respond adeptly during medical emergencies, collaborating with surgeons and clinical staff.
  • Adhere strictly to sterilization practices and procedural safety standards.
  • Document patient status, treatments, and interventions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide patient and family education as needed regarding procedures and post-operative care.
  • Support overall flow of the operating suite, ensuring timeliness and preparedness for procedures.

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (unrestricted)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Prior experience in operating room or ambulatory surgery center required
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in high-volume, high-acuity settings such as outpatient clinics, surgical centers, or emergency rooms
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
