Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR)
  • Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instruments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams, surgeons, and anesthesia providers
  • Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, high-pressure environments

    • Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible scheduling, including possible evenings, weekends, and call coverage, dependent on department needs

    • Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining strict surgical asepsis throughout cases
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Accurately manage surgical supplies, count instruments, and document intraoperative activities
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding operative processes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies or unexpected events in the surgical suite

    $1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
