Your responsibilities will include delivering timely and professional nursing services, administering medications (and maintaining proper documentation and storage), and responding to student and staff health needs per school and state protocols. You’ll collaborate closely with a Certified School Nurse on wellness programs, special projects—including developing individualized health plans for allergies, asthma, or seizures—and keeping the health office running smoothly. Monitoring AEDs and ensuring accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with state mandates are key elements of this opportunity. As a mandated reporter, your ability to make referrals for suspected abuse or neglect is essential.
